Vintage 1950s Kutani Japan tea set. It depicts a water mill scenery with green, blue and black colors and gold accents. The porcelain is very thin and delicate. There is a geisha lithopane at the bottom of the teacups.

Measurements. The teapot is 7 1/4 in tall by 7 1/2 in wide. The teacups are 2 in tall by 2 1/4 in diameter. The saucers have a diameter of 4 in, and a depth of 1 in. The sugar bowl is 4 in tall by 5 in wide. The creamer is 3 1/4 in tall by 3 3/4 in wide.
